INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS
The institutional members of the AASI include administrations and public bodies involved in the regulation and development of maritime and multimodal transport, with the aim of strengthening regional coordination and logistics integration.
Cameroon National Shippers’ Council – CNSC
The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council is a public administrative institution under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Transport and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Finance. Its mission is to assist shippers throughout the entire transport chain and defend their interests in order to contribute to the promotion of international trade.
Cameroonian Maritime Law Association – CMLA
The Cameroonian Maritime Law Association (CMLA) is a non-profit organization established following its founding General Assembly held on April 28, 2015, at the headquarters of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) in Douala. Its mission is to promote international cooperation for the harmonization of maritime law in Central Africa.
The French Maritime Law Association - FMLA
The French Maritime Law Association brings together nearly 400 maritime law professionals, including academics, specialized lawyers, and in-house counsel involved in maritime activities. Its purpose is notably to study issues relating to maritime law and the law of maritime activities in general, in all their aspects (domestic and international, private and public).
The Paris Maritime Arbitration Chamber - PMAC
The Paris Maritime Arbitration Chamber is an institution specialized in the resolution of disputes relating to maritime trade, international transport, logistics, chartering, marine insurance, ship sales, as well as port and multimodal operations. Founded in 1957, it is one of the leading maritime arbitration bodies in continental Europe.
