Regulatory support
Legal advice and institutional support for government agencies, companies, and operators in the maritime and multimodal transport sectors.
Optimization of intermodal corridors
Study, analysis, and monitoring of maritime, river, and land corridors to develop logistics flows and reduce congestion; optimize transportation costs for economic actors; and promote the opening up of regions by integrating inland areas with ports and logistics hubs.
Promotion and Development of Maritime Transport and Intermodality
The AASI facilitates the movement of goods and resources, improves logistical efficiency, and contributes to the continent’s sustainable economic development. The AATMI works in partnership with governments, public institutions, maritime operators, and users of multimodal transport.
Sustainable Development
Implementation of sustainable, responsible, and innovative practices aimed at reducing environmental impact and promoting inclusive growth.
Training and Awareness
Training programs, workshops, and awareness-raising initiatives aimed at building capacity and promoting best practices.
Development and modernization of port infrastructure
Modernize African ports to optimize the management of maritime traffic, as well as the efficiency, performance, and competitiveness of maritime services.

Streamline port operations and optimize logistics flows through simplified and efficient procedures, while ensuring the legal certainty of operations.
