The African Association for the Promotion and Development of Maritime Transport and Intermodality (AASI) and HBE Avocats were proud to serve as Sponsors and Partners of the 3rd E-Conference held on April 15, 2022, on the theme: “Challenges and Perspectives of the China–Africa Port Strategy.”
This third e-conference followed the first session held on March 18, 2022, on the theme “Africa’s Competitiveness in the Era of Major Port Transformations,” and the second session held on April 1, 2022, on the theme “African Ports in the Face of Maritime Decarbonization and the Energy Transition.”
These e-conferences were organized as part of the preparatory work for the fourth edition of the African Ports Forum.
Alvine Bélise Happi, Attorney at the Paris and Cameroon Bars, PhD in Law, Co-Founding Partner of HBE Avocats, and Founder of the African Association for the Promotion and Development of Maritime Transport and Intermodality (AASI), will actively participate in this 2nd e-conference organized as part of the African Ports Forum.
These e-conferences, organized in partnership with the AASI, HBE Avocats, and other key stakeholders, are intended for institutional representatives, public officials, government officials, experts, academics, doctoral candidates, practitioners, lawyers, and professionals interested in the development of maritime and multimodal transport in Africa, as well as international trade, including aspects related to port development, performance, and efficiency.
Through these initiatives, the African Association for the Promotion and Development of Maritime Transport and Intermodality (AASI) reaffirms its position as an active stakeholder, in partnership with other organizations and experts, contributing effectively to the development and promotion of maritime transport and intermodality in Africa.
